Brandon and Bee's

Created by NK 11 years ago
I was thinking this morning about Brandon and I was thinking about his issues with bee's. Now for those who do not know he did get stung quite a few times when he worked landscaping and hit a hive. So naturally he was somewhat nervous about them but Brandon took it to a whole other place. We were going to have an "adventure" Brandon said. We decided we were going to go gold panning and after about two and a half hours on the road, and then twenty minutes on a dirt road, we finally were at the the spot he had decided we should pan at. We got out and I went to open the trunk. I nearly hit my head on the trunk because I heard a high pitched scream coming from Brandon. He was jumping around in the middle of the street, saying things I won't write, waving his arms, yelling at me to get back into the car..get back in the car now...that they were after him. "There are so many Nicole" he was yelling while flailing around. I only saw 2 or 3 bee's but he was so frantic, I started to close the trunk. Before I was even in the car, Brandon had the car on and was in drive. For the next 20 minutes, he was telling me it was a swarm of bees and they were trying to get him. That there were over a hundred. After listening and staying quiet..he stopped the car turned and looked at me and said, "there were hundreds you know!!" He smiled and burst out laughing. "There were a lot," he kept saying..."they follow me or something". On the long drive back he said to me what he always did..."we have a great story now!" Every time he told the story, he swore there were at least a hundred bee's. I will never look at a bee and not think of you monkey. Miss you so much. nicole
